G.I. Jane Mr. Boulware, with great respect for your opinions, I agree almost entirely with all of your statements. I, personally, do not believe that God has ever been, nor will he ever be, involved in the politics of this world. His own son, Christ Jesus, when offered the kingdoms of the world and all their glory and power (see Matthew 4:1, 8-10) rejected them because he knew that 1) the political kingdoms really belonged to His father's adversary, Satan the Devil and 2) Christ knew what his purpose was in coming to the earth - to glorify and vindicate His father's name. I do not believe that God would align Himself with any 'world power' when he clearly reveals His position on such matters in His Word. The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob has not changed.
