Someone to Love Me

Posted By: Jasmine Butler on July 08, 2005 ...this a poem I wrote and I want ya'll to tell me what ya'll think about it. Where is this person that's supposed to love me? You know, the one they call your soul mate? Seems no matter how long I search for him He seems so far away I'm starting to believe now more than ever That this "soul mate" of mine will never come to be For my heart continues to mourn for true love And things just don't seem to work out for me I haven't had a boyfriend longer than 6 months Had one for less than a week As time continues to go on My love becomes very weary and weak Maybe love isn't meant for me Even though I want it to be Maybe what I want isn't important enough For fate to fulfill my need What could I have done To be cursed with such misfortune? Am I not good enough for anyone? My journey's far from being done All I want is for someone to love me For what I do and for who I am Maybe all hope isn't lost But for now, This is where I stand Hit me up! Your poem is very sincere and vwell written. Maybe those past relationships were suppose to fail because there is someone you are suppose to meet that will love you for who you are--that will treat you the way that a woman should be treated. Your "love" will come.
