How do you think Michelle Obama will influence today's woman?

How do you think Michelle Obama will influence today
Posted By: Marta Fernandez on February 28, 2009

Mrs. Obama is a picture perfect model of professional woman, mother and loving wife.
Her appearance is of no nonsense elegance and style, do you see women (of any ethnic group) following her style? What do you think will be her legacy?

I'm really too busy creating my own legacy to worry about hers, but I think Michelle is very elegant. I just shake my head when I hear traditional people talk about her arms being out. She's a modern day woman with a lot on her plate and I know she won't be bullied by white America and their ridiculous concerns. I'm proud of her. Being the first lady of a wonderful husband who happens to be the President of the United States is legacy enough. The fact that she's so professional in any situation just adds cream to the coffee. She's real, she's a good mother and she doesn't worry about their expectations. I'm very proud of her.

So is her influence defined as; to be educated, capable, can write her own paycheck and be a doting mother and wife? sounds good to me.

First Lady Obama, is a dynamic principaled and independant woman in every sense. She is unique in that is is not only powerful and strong growing up but she knows her role. She is clearly a woman submitted to her God and lives life on the principals of the Word. She has the ability to overtake her husband as strong as he is but she chooses to be his wife, woman, lover and submit to him as such. He certainly is well deserving of it in that he knows how to make her love him and vice versa. They are an example of what a family should be in the Black community. So many have lost the opportunity however for education in their youth and are bogged down trying to simply survice. This Obama family worked and planned together, kept their family tight, did not allow intruders to come into their realm to tear down their marriage which is a commitment and reverance to God. If more Black familys would consider to Honor God over their difference there would be little divorce. This family has accomplished the true dream of a dreamer. Black family, love for each other and God as the head of their family, Grand Mom is there by choice. They are financially successful and have the base of intregrity, respect, honor, charactor in tact before the financial success. What a wonderful and blessed thing to have the love of your family, active love.
