Trifling Boyfriend

Posted By: Nicole Rawlings on July 09, 2005 Well me and my (ex) boyfriend had been going out for 7 months up until yesterday. Before this we had been on and off since middle school. The longest we had dated was a year 1/2. Anyway ever since the summer hit he has been acting a lil funny. He barely called me, he never really came to see me or anything. And I know yall like well why didnt u call him or go see him. The problemis he is never home and on top of that he doesnt have a cell phone!!! Then we would plan on doing something and he would break plans!! I just got so tired of it. The last straw was about 2 days ago when we were suppose to do something after I got off work at 5:30. I told him the night b4 dont break plans just let me know now if u cant chill, he was like naw Imma be come just come get me when u get off of work. So I'm like ok. So the next day comes aorund and I call at like 1 and said are we still on 4 5:30...he sadi yea. So I get off work at 5:30 and call his house...and the say he isnt home!!! And I didnt hear from him the rest of the day!!! So yesterday I broke up with him. I love him, but no need to put myself through stuff stuff like that. I cant keep letting him do stuff liek that to me. So I went out with someone else last night. And tell me why he kept calling me....so i'm like oh now he wanna call. He didnt know I out with someone else. But he asked me to let him know if i decided to start talking to other people....so he kows when to move on...! Yeah girl I feel you all the way. Don't let him dictate when yall go out and every time you all do suppose to go out he breaks plans. If he never calls you or make an effort to come see you, then 9 times out of 10 he's probably out there tricken off wih another broad. Then it's not fair to you bcuz I'm sure you make your plans according to him and by him not following through, I'm sure it gets you kind of side tracked. So if you're feeling bad cuz you went out with someone else, please don't bucz like I said he was probably out with someone else anyway. Then he turns around and say "Let me know if you went out with somebody else so I can know to move on". Girl please don't fall for that cuz that nig@a probably already moved on. So be strong and enjoy life, I'm sure you're young and you haven't even lived half of your life yet. Don't let him hinder you from your blessings and opportunities. If he want what you want in life, then tell that cornball to catch up with you cuz you are on the run for yours.
