Posted By: MIISRAEL Bride on March 02, 2009 HOMETOWN MEMPHIS MARCH 02, 2009 THAT'S-A-DUH-ALL SNOW! 03.01.2009 HAYWOOD COUNTY, BROWNSVILLE, TN Saturday night snowstorm swept a pile up for Sunday morning drivers who waited from 8 to 16 hours on Interstate 40 in Haywood County near Brownsville, TN. Drivers sat in long lines for miles as all that snow caused accidents and fender benders everywhere. Many drivers abandoned their vehicles and some ran out of gasoline. The interstate's coverage of snow fixed a highway to nowhere and traffic wasn't cleared up for hours. Some miscommunication on road reports also aided in telling driving was clear on the interstate, but they only discovered a huge backup and joined in the long ride out of the snow storm's impact. Later the road report's glich was corrected. There were plenty of fender benders but no major injuries reported. However....sadly there was a fatality... 19 YEAR OLD KILLED IN CAR ACCIDENT 03.01.2009 West Memphis Ark A 19 year driver, Erica Coleman of Memphis, TN was killed when she lost control of her car crashing head on into another vehicle near on Interstate 55 near West Memphis, Arkansas. The other family involved in the crash did not suffer any fatalities. Reports say the family suffered a few minor injuries, but that Erica died at the scene. Driving conditions from the snow may have been cause of the accident. That's-a-duh- Snow dunk!....The Tigers Go! Go! UNIVERSITY OF MEMPHIS SNOWED OLE MISS 03.01.2009 Mempis, TN The University of Memphis Tigers basketball team is rated as I last noted as number 5 has a winning streek just like real tigers. They won another game! This time defeating University of Mississippi..(OLE MISS). They keep the snow on, and fans have a snow sledge of time raving over their wins! Next game, the Tigers will be SNOW BOUND for Houston in their conference finals. You think they'll have SNOW BALLS?.....Houston will have to see their forecast. Next..... Can you MAN UP?...READ this.. MAN UP GROUP SPEAKS OUT 03.01.2009 Memphis, TN Anti-violence group MAN UP conducted a rally for youths this weekend to drop all the negativity, gangs, and violence. Students and neighborhoods attended the presentation to offer support of all types of negativity and criminal behaviors. A spokeman said that MAN UP stands for Mininmizing All Negativity Utlizing Peace. Need I add more..
