Bras sold by Victoria's Secret have been the subject of numerous complaints by women who say they sustained serious and painful rashes, hives and scarring as a result of their Victoria's Secret bras. Preliminary investigation of these claims have revealed that some Victoria's Secret Bras tested positive for the chemical formaldehyde. Exposure to this toxin could be behind these Victoria's Secret bra injuries. Victoria's Secret Bra Injury Lawsuit In 2008, an Ohio woman filed suit against Victoria's Secret, alleging she became “utterly sick” after she wore her new Angels Secret Embrace and Very Sexy Extreme Me Push-Up bras. Presence of red, macerated skin on the waistband area. This rash can become secondarily infected with bacterial organisms in hot, humid environments. Itching at the site of contact. In some cases, people allergic to formaldehyde in clothing may experience itching and tearing eyes and, shortness of breath.
