Getting your head "straight" means feeling how you want your day to unfold. Placing yourself in a favorable state of mind, whether you are a homemaker a business person, a student, or an employee by consciously choosing ,your state of mind will follow your actions through out the day. Choosing your state of mind is the key. Do you want to experience peace and quiet? tranquility and relaxation, do you want to up your vibrations a notch because you are fulfilling a long sought out goal- maybe signin g a contract or a lease-meeting a important person who can help you along with your goals? It all begins with a choice. You may need to enhance and experience, such as connecting with others traveling on the same highway or do you want to transform an experience such as finding support during a difficult or challenging time? "A favorable state makes you more creative, more inspired, and more likely to be clear about what you want. It also helps you take action and cultivate habits ,practices that support realizing your dreams.'" Deanna Davis, PHd. In order to clean out the 'junk" that accumulates, you may want to try a "news diet." Give yourself a break from all of the negativity that is swirling around you daily. Listening to the way of the world, jams up the receptors of peace. Only in a state of calm and control, can you plan, focus and execute. Some of us work in toxic environments, ex: prisons--and it takes a toll. Some of us may be dealing with loved ones that vex us. To remain tranquil in the seat of a storm is an actual exercise, a mental exercise, spas and basketball courts may assist,but ultimately if you cannot travel to the state of the moment you are in, fully conscious, committed and moving forward, you will find yourself in the same place and at the same stop you were the last ten years, ten months or ten days. Choose your emotional state today. One that is conducive to attracting your desired outcomes. I am working on mine, and I see it does work! Thanks Jen, I am also working on this and the above is my own interpretation of the book the Laws of Attraction in Action, with a reference to the author in parenthesis.But it does work!!
