What is the real meaning of change?
|
Posted By: peggy cauley on March 09, 2009 What is the real meaning of change? You do the things u used to be against, u date the people u thought u never would, and u befriend the people u used to hate. U'll learn what it’s like to have your heart broken, to lose a friend that truly meant something to u & to feel as if everything is really falling apart. There will be times that your life seems so absolutely horrible it feels like it’s not real. Despite all this, good things will come too. U'll make the most amazing friends that will be there for u even when they probably shouldn't. Ur broken heart will heal once u find the most perfect guy you've ever met, and just as nothing else can go wrong, things will only get better. There will be the days u are so happy, and the days that u feel like breaking down and crying. Drama happens, gossip goes around & people talk. Maybe it's life, or maybe this is just what growing up is. I've learned that u can be hurt even when you're not in love. Don't waste your time worrying about people who won't worry about you. Keep all your pictures. They don't change, even though the people in them might. And never regret something that once made u smile, even if it was for just a second. I’ve learned the grass is never greener on the other side, it's just different. I've learned lately that you can't always trust people. Things aren't going to go as planned. Friends will be lost and hearts will be broken. The person who you thought you could count on will let you down. But in these situations, the best thing you can do is hope for the best when life lets you down. Because from every bad day there's always a tomorrow. So be optimistic. Live for the moments and treasure them. And never have regrets because at one point it was exactly what you lived for. I’ve learned, "Never argue with an idiot, because someone is liable to walk by & not be able to tell the difference." I have beautiful friends, be one. I like people who can be sarcastic and laugh about tense situations. I'm a thinker and an over analyzer. I never assume someone’s not being honest with me. I need everything to be organized, all of the time. I strongly believe that everything happens for a reason. I always fight for something I want or love. I've learned thru life that the only person who won't ever lie to u is God. I don't answer to anyone but myself. I firmly believe that if u can't handle me at my worst, then u do not deserve me at my best. I always give 100% and I expect it back. I believe that people enter your life when you choose for them to do so, & they exit much in the same way. I work hard, play hard, and love hard. I'm absolutely having the time of my life right now & have never been happier. I have amazing friends that I thank God for everyday!
