Happiness vs Joy

Posted By: Kay McCoy on March 31, 2009 Happiness has room for failure but joy will last always There r things we go thru in life that will deny any hopes for joy or happiness The cares of this world r extreme and relentless The moment u think u’ve figured it out a storm may come that might knock u right off ur feet U have people that have different methods of how to conduct their everyday lives Some choose to be nonchalant, or emotionless, or even overly sensitive People who choose to be nonchalant use sarcasm against people to avoid getting hurt People who choose to be emotionless build up walls so that people can’t get into them People who become overly sensitive are easily offended because of their past hurts These people that choose to conduct their lives in ways that constantly play either offense or defense lack self-esteem Low self-esteem is REAL and it kills people everyday Low self-esteem is to lack self confidence; to always see negative and not positive When u have low self-esteem u r unable to have joy and the happiness that u constantly search for will always fail u Joy says that I’m positive even when things in ur life denies it Joy says that I am strong minded and that no one will convince me different Joy says that no matter what happened in the past it will not affect my present and future Don’t think about being happy because it only last for a little while But when u have joy, u can wake up in the morning and smile just because If you enjoyed this article, Join HBCU CONNECT today for similar content and opportunities via email! |
