The Quality Operations Supervisor will lead a self directed team in support of quality compliance efforts at the Elkton facility. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Act as point person for the site assuring compliant release of raw materials and components Statistical sampling; assurance acceptance criteria are met; quality procedures regarding release of raw materials and components are up to date Create and maintain vendor relationships assuring anticipated shipments are correct prior to arrival and working with vendors should there be issues in the process Vendor Qualification - Vendor partnering to assure robust specifications for shipment acceptance Vendor Audit Leadership of union Technicians including schedules Investigation or root cause analysis of raw material shipments or release related issues Working with multiple IPT's (integrated process teams) onsite to assure the timely issuance of raw materials and componets for manufacturing needs Position may require approximately 10% travel. QualificationsRequired: A Bachelor degree in Science or Engineering 5 years experience supporting a manufacturing process either from an operational, technical support or quality role Direct or Indirect leadership Investigative problem solving Collaboration across business units Preferred: Experience in a GMP environment Vendor Auditing Raw Material release experience Vendor Management Consistently cited as a great place to work, we discover, develop, manufacture and market a wide range of vaccines and medicines to address unmet medical needs.
