MEMPHIS CELEBRATES AFRICA IN APRIL!

Hometowners of Memphis will be plagued with visitors celebrating 23 years of Africa in April International Festival. All week long the anticipation has been at it's highest peak. This year's African country is Mauritania! Today starts off the festival downtown Memphis at Robert Church's Park. Beginning time is 12 noon. The event lasts through Sunday, April 19th. Stroll on down and pick out a piece of Africa's culture and meet actual persons from several African countries including Mauritania.

Food, fun, people, music, and vendors are waiting to delight you with an African greeting!

Learn how to say hello in a new African tongue!
