Posted By: gwen jackson on April 20, 2009 117 Year old Historic Rivalry continues with Livingstone College vs Johnson C Smith University October 3, 2009 1:00 pm Memorial Stadium - Charlotte, NC The Commemorative Classic between the Blue Bears and the Golden Bulls kicks off October 3, 2009!The “Commemorative Classic” celebrates these two institutions giving birth to the historical and cultural significance of the first Black College football game played in America in 1892.
