Posted By: stephanie brown on April 27, 2009 The old me is dead and gone I said the old me is dead and gone See the old me would have cussed you out for looking at me funny, talking at the side of your neck, or just out and out challenging me The old me would have slapped the shiznick out of you for disrespecting me and mine Essentially The old me kicked ass and took names But the old me is dead and gone The new me stands in front of you transformed and on fire for the Lord I have finally heeded the call to ministry I ain't trying to be anybody's preacher But I can be your right hand minister I want to use my gift of song and my ability to spit poetry to bring the unsaved into the house of faith You know the adulterers, lyers, cheaters, murderes, and whoremongers You know the one that is trying to get with you right now knowing they have a wife at home You knwo the one that is trying to kiss all on you knowing she has a dude at home Ever since I have heeded the call to ministry all HELL has broken out I have had frustration, disappointed, insomnia, and HATERATION Here a hater. there a hater, everywhere a HATER HATER I have haters in my family, I have haters amongst my so called friends, I have haters within my former poetry family, and I have even have haters amongst my sorors of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. That is so beautiful and fits for all of us. I appreciate you posting this today. It has helpped me so much. Now I am going to take the top and the bottom and fill in my middle and do this for myself because all of us have something that needs to be dead and gone. Thank you so much
