Unsupportive father

Unsupportive father
Posted By: Danielle Clark on July 18, 2005

Today me, my faather, and my mother all got into and= argument concerning the loans I will most likely have to take out for school. He acted as if he didn't care what we did when we asked how he felt about taking out the loans. To me that shows that he doesn't give a rats ass about my education. He then went on to say that he didn't really want me to go to Spelman, saying the cost wastoo high.

Damn it anywhere u got hese days the cost is too high. They did give me a scholarship covering my tution and this nigga is still complaining. its like I bust my ass to get into college and I Must not have busted it enough cuz he still aint statisfied.

I have decided that this is the final time I try to please others. I am moving on in my life and have to start looking out for me, for Danielle. This is my life and I have to live it the way that I see fit.

You got a Scholarship Covering your tution that the most important thing to cover so you will be alright. Just tell your-self you are going to make it happen regardless of who is jealous or who does not want you to win. Over-time i realized that your own parents get jealous of what you are doing even though you are there Child because they might have not been doing what you are doing at there age. it's true

Girl, be lucky that you have a father that is in your life enough to even argue with you. A lot of girls don't even have that. You made it to college, you busted your butt to get there, let be satisfaction enough for him and for you. Even if money was an issue, still don't let that bother you because it'll all pay off in the end, and the student loans and all of that would be so worth it. Stay up and just have a talk with your parents so you can find some common ground on the issue
