U DON’T YOU DRAG MY NAME THROUGH THE MUD! 05.11.2009 Memphis, TN Monday, May, ll, 2009: Memphis City Councilwoman, Barbara Swearegen-Ware called a press conference with local television and radio stations because she wanted to clear her name. Recently, eight women were accused of taking bribes in return for favors in processing car inspection registration and tags. Councilwoman Ware was named as one of the women who paid for favors in registering her personal vehicles. However, in the press conference she was pretty convincing stating: “I’ve never bribed anyone!” The Councilwoman wore her “I love Jesus” pin on her lapel and completely dismissed any indication she was involved in doing bribes or giving favors. The Councilwoman has not be charged with bribery. That’s a muddy story. Seems like it has plenty of dirt too!.. Come on MIISRAEL what’s next? My, My aren’t you’re a tid-bit hasty… Do you own a dirt bike? No? Yes? Lookout! It’s the bikers…. D DEATHS OF THE MUD-TOR-CYCLISTS 05.13.2009 Memphis, TN There was a long line of traffic last night around 11 p.m. as a group of bikers finished Bike Night Out from downtown on Beale Street-- they were confronted with a real pile up on I-240 near Norris Road. That’s when a chain reaction of accidents brought two cyclists their fatal deaths. Sources stated that 1 female cyclist accidentally hit the rear of a vehicle causing her to be run down by a fellow cyclist killing her and himself. The accidents had bikes turning in all directions, and cars too. The pile up took hours to clear and caused a long wait in traffic backups. The two cyclists died at the hospital. It’s still unclear of how the accident happened. Police are looking for a driver in a black car that was also in the accident, but fled the scene. Rolling with the Hommies!….You really got to be careful! I’ve spelled MUD…. but that’s BLOOD!….Read this story… FROM HIS BACK 05.13.2009 Memphis, TN Last night on a street called Summer Creek Cove, a child was struck in the back by a stray bullet while he played basketball in his yard. It’s rumored someone was shooting a few bottles with a gun! Running for help, the 10 year old jumped up and down trying to tell his neighbor of the bullet strike in his back. His mother was nearby heard the shots, but thought that someone was shooting fireworks. When she examined her son, she discovered he was wounded by a stray bullet to the back and saw blood streaming from his shirt! She called police and her son was taken to Lebonheur Children’s Medical Center. The boy was hurt seriously, but is in stable condition. This is exactly the kind of thing police are trying to deter. Firearms should not be fired openly! This was ruled as an accident, however it could have been fatal. “I’d like people who are so careless with their arsonal to put their "guns" in the MUD!” MUD is DUM spelled backwards...What a dum thing to do! Just what are they thinking? Guns need to be used properly…When will they ever learn?
