Dominque's speciality is in The Women's Cross Country Run. She is a senior at St. Mary's Academy in Inglewood, CA. Recently, she is third to sign a women's cross country scholarship with Xavier University of Louisana Gold Nuggets. Her best times are 21 minutes and 15 seconds for three miles and for 400 meters run she is 57.4 seconds. The other two to sign are Texans, Rubeneish Cooper of Pearland and Sabrina Vargas of Brookshire who signed on earlier this year. The Gold Nuggets of Xavier are three-time defending Gulf Coast Athletic Conference champion in women and men cross country runs. Both teams of Xavier have qualified as NAIA National Champions. The new season for The Gold Rush and The Gold Nuggets begins in late August 2009. Congratulations to new recruit: Dominique Webb, Carson CA Senior at St. Mary's Academy HERE'S SOME OTHER COLLEGE NEWS: NEW COACH AT NORTH CAROLINA A&T UNIVERSITY: Greensboro, NC North Carolina A&T University hired Alonzo Lee, Jr. in January 2009. Wheeler Brown, Director of Atheletics hired Coach Lee in January as Head Football Coach. Coach Lee comes to A& T after spending three seasons with Morgan State Univerity's defensive coordinator. He is the 17th coach to fill this position. THE DUKE--N.C. CENTRAL FOOTBALL GAME Durham, NC Duke University and North Carolina Central University signed an agreement to play a one time game of footbal on Saturday, September 26, 2009. Duke's head coach, David Cutcliffe stated that this is a great enviorment for Durham's two college teams to play against another. Since the universities share the same city it makes it altogether unique! The coaches hope this will build a long term relationships and more games like this to come.
