As a Married Man, I know people still believe. For a person in their early twenties it may not seem so. But, in the late twenties and early thirties, it becomes apparent, because this is when people begin to wise up. Married is not easy. It takes some studying like anything, and there are roles to be defined and played. The tradition of marriage, I believe, is a divine public promise to try and keep each other happy no matter what, as everyone rejoices in the witnessing. That is the main reason I believe that the most important part of a wedding is the Ceremony and the Honeymoon, not the reception. I hope this was an acceptable answer.
