Posted By: Jazmyn Roberts on July 21, 2005 Well, I'm at a friend's house and I feel like typing, so here we go. Hmm, where to start...Okay. I am involved with someone who I know for sure I will marry. We have our problems, but we get over it. I'm still single, though, but not lookin. I just lost a "friend", so I feel better cause that's less drama in my life...I'm learning all about being independent. It's hard, but it's worth it. It's just a lil' taste of it for right now. I'm working and paying for housing, since I don't like to ask people for assistance and my motto on being independent is: "If I can't afford it, I don't need it." It's not being hard-headed or arrogant or anything like that, it's just that I feel that I can't rely on everyone to take care of me and do for me for the rest of my life, so I better start trying to do for myself now so when I get out of college I won't be looking like "how do I take care of myself now," or whatnot...(Pause for a minute, or two!) this is just for right now...I'll finish a lil' lata! Hey gyrl, im workin but not paying housing. I guess i am going to take advantage of what i can get now and just sit back, watch, and learn, ya know! But i commend you on that because that takes a lot to just come up and do that stuff on your own. I like your motto. Keep ya head and don't stop bein independent for nobody. Much luv!
