Posted By: T.D. Faison on June 19, 2009 Sitting here watching press conference with Obama. I'm speaking for a group on Father's Rights and this was great to see today. But I’m not texting you about that. I really and truly want to resolve this situation with you. It's gone on way too long and honestly the one being hurt the most is our child. Obama just said it. We need to be truly responsible and come to an agreement that has nothing to do with anything else but what's really and truly best for her. And not by our own separate thoughts of what is best. It has to be that of some thing we both agree and see that it's best for her. I'm not going to make it about me but she deserves to have both of us in her life equally. Not taking away from anything that you've done to raise and take care of her in the past till the present. But it's my turn and you can't continue to prevent me from doing this. You can't keep taking her away from me and stealing precious time that she and I will never ever get back. The 1st time you stole was her birth from me, then you steal 4yrs after that. I fight you in court and spend 10's of thousands of dollars on attorneys and hire private investigators just find you. Now you steal another 2yrs. from me she's not even 10 yet. How much more time do you feel the need to steal? I'd like to know that so I won't start every morning when I wake up for another 7yrs or for the rest of my life wondering; if today will be the day. She deserves to have the life that I can provide her just like the one you do. Not what some ice cold government policy tells me what she deserves. Because besides a check, she deserves a Hell of a lot more than that. She deserves to know her father loves her and is doing everything in his power to make sure that she'll never ever have to want for nothing. She needs to know that kind of love and not just from you, but me also. Where both adults here, and no one wants to control the other at all. But we need to come to some terms that again will be for the best of our daughter and her upbringing. Giving her the right to know that her Father loves her and she has other family as well that longs to know and love her as well. I pray this finds you in a good place within yourself and hopefully it will not offend you. My hopes is that it will release whatever is being held that prevents you from allowing me to be apart of my daughter's life.
