Tuskegee ranked 16th in preseason football polls

Posted By: Reginald Culpepper on June 21, 2009 FEATURED Content In the latest polls by the Sporting News and Lindy’s Magazine Poll defending Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference champion Tuskegee will open the 2009 season at No. 16. Tuskegee is the only SIAC team in the top 25. The Golden Tigers finished 2008 at 10-1 and was a controversial call away from their second consecutive undefeated season. Tuskegee’s loss on the final play of the Turkey Day Classic snapped a 26 game winning streak. Tuskegee has not loss to an SIAC opponent since 2006.
