Do You Have A Plan B?

Posted By: Ramona Clay on June 26, 2009 In these tumultuous economic times we need to have a back-up plan just in case ... If we do not get that contract, job, get fired and/or let go, then what? We all like to think of our jobs as "secure" but is it really? As a "former" corporate recruiter, I know most of the jobs that have been eliminated are not coming back. There are millions of folks looking for a few job openings. How does one compete? Unless one is "open-minded" and willing to transfer their skills, if will be tough to sustain in this economy. If you saw a way where you could make some pretty serious money on the side and it didn't interfere with what you were already doing would that be something you'd be interested in?
