Reality Check-Life After College

Posted By: Andrea( Liz) McKnight on July 23, 2005 Why is that while people are talking about all the opportunities you will have with a college degree, nobody mentions that those opportunites may come months(sometimes) many months after graduating. No one tells you about the countless interviews you will go on hoping for a chance to prove you have what it takes to make it at the company or organization. No one prepares you for all those rejection letters and phone calls you will recieve saying "you were good but not quite good enough" or not enough experience" I'm sorry I was too busy getting my education to find the time for the exprience part of the job. Okay enough of my raving. I know I am not the only person who went through that. Fear not college graduates you will find that job, just like I did and it will be good one. Don't settle for anything!
