Regular Part-time Faculty Pool Position at Central New Mexico Community

Posted By: Jehan Bunch on July 14, 2009 Job Description: Duties and Responsibilities: Under the direct supervision of director, teach theory/lab classes in one or more of first term or second term plumbing courses in the plumbing program. Follow course documents, communicate with supervisors and staff, maintain objective grading system, meet expectations as communicated by the director maintain class meeting schedules as published in the master schedule, attend orientation meetings. To ensure compliance with federal and college requirements some mandatory training must be completed for this position. Qualifications / Requirements: Minimum Requirements: Completion of five (5) years recent work experience in the mechanical/plumbing trades; and/ or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Certified journeyperson or equivalent combination of education and experience is required; back flow certification or the ability to obtain back flow certification within 90 days of hire. This position requires good human relation skills, current knowledge of the plumbing industry, mechanical codes, computer literacy, ability to relate and instruct a nontraditional diverse student population.
