Hey yall I don't know if this topic already came up before but I was just wondering what would be the reasons for a student to go to an all female or male school then an coed school ? I mean are there benefits or disadvantages on going to either school ? let me know.

I dont know why. I think it might because some girls or boys have parents who still feel as if they are still a child. You mothers are afraid of heharing about their daughter becoming pregnant or about their son getting someone pregnant. But i would never do that to my child. That defeats the purpose of them going to school to meet people.

I believe people chose schools that are right for them. I went to an all black girls Catholic high school in New Orleans and there were a couple of girls with kids and who got pregnant. I want to go to Spelman but my means were right because of paying tuitin in high school. But these schools are legendary, and the "reps" are marvelous. even though we know of things not so right, but I don't think parents have anything to do with everybody who goes to spelman, morehouse, or bennett.

you all bring up valid points, but its really not up to the parents since situations like becoming pregant can happen regardless where they go, but wouldn't going to the same s*x school kinda increases the chances of rebeling and have kids anyway ?
