Posted By: A&M Ward Beard from on February 23, 2005 Yo, Its so much I can say, WHERE SHOULD I START/In rap music THERE IS AN ART, SHARIN MY THOUGHTS I PREPARED FROM MY HEART/ Last year I spit words that THOUSANDS FELT/ Some of yall know me, but some don`t so let me tell yall ABOUT MYSELF/ kinda nervous heart POUNDIN AWAY/ reignin from Michigan, city of Lansing -the capital 13 HOURS AWAY/ 13 years I filled my BRAIN WIT KNOWLEDGE/ Livin my life relaxin, grades were decent so I CAME TO COLLEGE/ Soon as I got DOWN TO THIS MUG/ talent was FOUNDIN THIS SON, opened for Jada for homecoming 2001/ so here I am up CLOSE IN PERSON/ DOUGH I`M EARNIN, FOCUSED LEARNIN how to spit the DOPEST VERSIONS/ Look close as I` m LETTIN THIS OUT/ gettin RESPECT IN THE SOUTH-got mad record labels CHECKIN ME OUT/and everybody knows that WARD WILL SUCCEED/ I`m the most suprising news since they caught Dionne WARWICK WITH WEED/ I feel that I`m the BEST AND I`M QUITE COOL/ ,started rappin in like 7th grade, didn`t get good till a FRESHMEN IN HIGHSCHOOL/ but things change from PAST TO PRESENT/ I`m GLAD I"M BLESSED WITH VALUED LESSONS I learned as an ADOLECENT/ "who said WARD`S A ROOKIE?/ Every time my verse is broken down, there`s a message inside of em` like FORTUNE COOKIES."/And a lot of people TALK, AND DON"T LISTEN/ I`ll only TALK IF YALL LISTEN- thats why I hardly ever TALK ABOUT SPITTIN/ DOG, I WAS CHILLIN, til my HOMIE WAS LIKE-/ "I KNOW THAT YOU TIGHT OVER THE MIC, GO ON AND RECITE THEM FLOS THAT YOU WRITE/ It`s so much to say, but SO LITTLE TIME/ but since I`m COLD WITH THE RHYMES, focus on my lyrics and OPEN YA MIND/- and since it`s- FRIDAY EVENIN,/ my RHYME AND REASON is to show what LIFE IS LEADIN through these LINES IM READIN/ Listen I get this QUESTION QUICK..../ Ward, I know you LOVE TO RIP, when you GONNA DIP to NY and BUST ON 106?../ Nobody`s RAPPIN BETTER/ and if my CASH WAS BETTER, I would have been gone LAST SEMESTER/ cuz I got inTENTIONS TO CRUSH FOOLS/ but If I go now and win, I `d have to stay then I would be MISSIN TO MUCH SCHOOL/ So I`m back to set up SHOP ON THE BLOCK/ rep and get PROPS WHEN I DROP- last year niggaz learned a whole LOT ON THE BLOCK/ I learned to- LEAVE EMCEES SMACKED/ up at A&M where WEEDS WACK and you can damn near get higher off of a FREAKED BLACK/ But thats cool, I spit the WORDS OF ADVICE in these VERSES I WRITE/ as long as I`m here I`ll be EARNIN MY STRIPES...../ well let me WRAP THIS UP/ some CATS JUST SUCK .When you see me DAP ME UP and THATS WASSUP..........
