Posted By: Jene'ya Darson on July 26, 2005 In my opinion, being a college student is quite possibly one of the hardest thing a person will have to do. However, some find it easy; almost natural to be a college student. Nevertheless, I have found that messing up in college is like trying to sweep up sugar. You can sweep the sugar all day, but there will still be sugar on the floor when you walk in the kitchen with your bare feet. I wish I could hold a seminar for freshmen and explain my theory to them. I'm still stepping in the grains of sugar I spilled my freshman year, but sooner or later, the sugar will go from being on the bottoms of my bare feet to being non-existent...as long as I keep walking in it. The easiest way to avoid spilling the sugar is to hold on tight to it, or keep it in a bag...the easiest way to succeed in college is to hold on tight to your goals and keep your focus in the bag.
