Facades Exposed

Posted By: Torry Overstreet on August 31, 2009 Whether black or white your body will readily bleed profusely! Puerto Ricans, Cubans, Ethiopians, Indians, and albinos, even you are not exempt. Sorry to be the bearer of such bad news. Pleeeeaaaase, don’t kill the messenger though. The message baby! THE MESSAGE! Whether violently or with care and precision you can and will on contact, if enough force is applied, gush or leak vital life force. This life sustaining force is commonly known, as your blood! A sliick, watery substance smelling somewhat similar to iron. (What was intrinsically blue~{serenity&peace }has burst outward red!= [rage! anger! and wrath!] “Maury, what do the test results reveal?” Yep, just like I thought. In 99.9% of us this substance is red. “Thanks Maury, and keep those manimals on your show in line bra.” They are,(L.O.L.) funny to examine though. I can conceptualize anomalies. So for those of you, still on the proverbial “fence,” cut yourselves and then scientifically as your blood gushes, list this substance’s physical characteristics. The aforementioned gushing, presupposes that you understand the need for a copious amount for examination. So feel free, NO, compelled, to cut at least as deep, as to the subcutaneous layer:)... ATTENTION! This should dispel all doubts. So with one of our rudimentary commonalities established, please understand that color plays a role in my life, but not the role it possibly plays in your life. “ P.O.V.” “Skin color,” is a characteristic of our physical state, what I henceforth will term simply “physical.” Our skin color can only truly be received mentally. Is it tangible? Can it be grasped in lined hands and squeezed with opposable thumbs? Skin color or as I term it, “complexion,” is just one definitive description of our shell:) I SEE SHADES! Ask yourself this. Does complexion really speak for or against who a person is? I’m talking “depth matters.” Or have we been so conditioned from birth, that simple variations of the light spectrum shape what is really only ocular sensory input. “Let him who hath ears hear.” Customs, assimilated teachings and traditions have so flavored what is in your mind.(www.com) Blandness is unacceptable! “86" sameness. Our montage of hues adds so much flavor to humanity! So from my P.O.V(point of view) I don’t care what hue tinges your integumentary system, the lack of or over-abundant production of melanin that you have.( Dumb down). I don’t care what color you are. From my personal experience what I do know is that, if I puncture, slice, or cleave any part of your physical(shell), you will bleed. RED!! We are NOT impervious to foreign objects penetrating our physical. Note: To the fool-hardy few, and you know who you are, the ones that get drunk or doped up the “not” is capitalized with you in mind. Some may presuppose they are! L.O.L (laughing out loud). Big mistake. It generally results in the leakage of life force. Yours or theirs! Foreign objects?? Yeah, foreign objects akin to........ Bullets, blades(serrated or keen), also objects that when adroitly wielded makes us comment that our poor shells resemble different types of food we eat. Or explodes in much the same manner. We are all fragile, even the strongest of our kind. From 1600 Penn. trickling all the way down to even me. YOU CAN LEARN A LOT FROM A DUMMY! I pen these words to provoke, pique, foment, and incite some type of emotion in you. Whether good, bad, or indifferent. I want axons, neurons, and dendrites doing their thang. I want you thinking. Maybe some who dare, will read this and want more. I can only hope. All the above to say this. I am writing my first book. Wow right! It’s entitled, “Title Disclosed.” Note; That’s not the title. You know copyright and Library of Congress. Yeah, those kind of things. Seriously, when it does come out (L.W.) Please check it out. Show some love!! Here is a preview. I am a calculating, scheming, manipulative individual. Guess what? So are you! Truly you are. Some may suppress these inherent qualities better than others, but all of us still are. Let’s get past that hurdle and move on to bigger and BETTER things! OK.OK.OK. I will give a little rope to all of you who have those shocked, slack-jawed looks on your faces, or to you who are shaking your heads in consternation as a slow burn builds inside at the notion that I would ever consider some of you unsaintly. Heaven forbid! Maybe...., you do it and don’t recognize what you do by name. Or, maybe you lie and rationalize things to fit snugly. You could, and most do know exactly what they are doing. Covering things up with pretty names and idealogue. Or just plain insouciant about things. I know those intrinsic qualities by name. I call them by name! I’m not any better than you, and you damn sure are not any better that I. L.O.L. Facades are see-through to those schooled in the art of “transparency.” Yes, it’s an art form. I digress. Vampires, blood, beasts, manimals, love, God, sex, religion, spirituality, women, wolves, sheep, paths, marks, johns, victims, Darwin’Theory, shawties, ducks, breezies, and more. I aim to wow. To shock! All for her! KNOWLEDGE. Isn’t she beautiful. Back up Halle! Move or Miss Pitts. And to those old enough to reminisce, forget Marilyn. Enjoy the pages ahead. Be awed at my usage of words. The good and the bad. Yes, this book is for mature people. Not adults exclusively. I’ll say 15 or older. I would like to say 12 but I don’t want to frighten you. This book is a devotional of sorts. So cheer- up all of you close-minded individuals. No offense, but some really are. Enlightenment is the end result. I would love to cause your brain to “fart.” For me to be the catalyst causing your flatulent deluge. This book is also a, “how to be a player guide,” for all players out there. Male and female alike. And much more! We train ourselves to lie to ourselves! Forget lying to someone else. L.O.L. We condition our own minds (Pavlov’s dogs) to accept falsehoods as truths. We play dress up and have tea time while we sit and use our rationalizations symbolically as hammers to beat falsehoods into a form of truth. A little leaven. Bludgeoning truth until it’s mixed in so finely that in time, truth exist only in our “depth.” In others, ultimately the animal has searched and found that truth in those peoples’ own respective “depths,” and extinguished what vague light that truth emitted.
