The President's Health Care Policy

Posted By: Daisy Tunstall on September 07, 2009 I cannot understand how any of us can go to sleep at night knowing that there is another person in the USA who is in pain, body deterioating, or near death because we refuse to provid health care for them. This is not a matter of politics, its a matter of conscious. Its like have bread in excess in your home, but , yet the neighbors next door are starving. We have plenty of funds , to provide "new jets" for the bankers, that we recently bailed out of financial ruin, who now give themselves "bonuses" of over a million dollars a year. Now they have the nerve, after being brought, financial healthy positions, to want to pay the money back so they can avoid being regulated by the government. Well, we report these kinds of ruthless actions of greed, disregard for human quality of life, then wonder why we are struggling here in the country. We will never do well and enjoy peace and tranquility until we do right by the least of them. This country is designed to have "poor people" to serve us in restaurants, clean our hotels, pick up our garbage, etc. So be it, but remember they have bodies that must be cared for as well. Plus, they love their families, especially their children, just as much as we do ours. I belive that what you cast out there on the water will return to you. America better wake up. Remember how we got to where we are. Additionally, we can no longer be the police of the world, why other nation let us shoulder most of the responsiblity for the safety of other countries.
