The History of the Buffalo Soldiers National Museum

Did you know that this museum has purchased an old historic armory and plans to renovate it to become the new national headquarters of the museum? Did you know that until the "financial meltdown" that caused financial woes for many foundations and corporations have affected the completion of the renovations of this armory? Did you know that the museum founder, Captain Paul Matthews, a Vietnam Veteran, invested his retirement money from working 30 years in order to get the museum open and operating? Did you know that Captain Matthews has determined that the armory will be renovated next year and has developed a plan to sell 8,000 memorial bricks to make this happen?
