For more information, visit www.standardandpoors.com. The Salesforce Development & Certification Program training program is a 3-month rotational program. The program objective is to find the most talented recent graduates, who want to grow, invest and connect with us as we help both S&P and our customers achieve their growth strategies. The goal of this program is to develop sales talent with a specific focus on the technical competency required in representing a complex product line. This program will reside in the Fixed Income Risk Management Services group, serving the global financial markets by providing market intelligence and analytic insight for risk driven investment analysis; including the Debt, Structured Finance, Derivative and Credit markets. The sales training program is comprised of: • A minimum of four rotations through customer facing departments within S&P Fixed Income Solutions; • Training on our markets, customers and products and the interaction amongst the three; • Training on credit and risk analysis; • Mentor relationships with sales and other business leaders. This program will: • Create well-rounded sales associates with "technical" domain knowledge in the Fixed Income space; • Build solutions oriented sales skills with the ability to represent S&P in its entirety, including account management and major account selling; • Develop capabilities that focus on the ability to demonstrate and sell analytic applications. Upon completion of the program associates will transition into client-facing roles within sales or client development teams. Qualifications: Successful candidates should be articulate, critical thinkers with a strong interest in learning about financial markets. We are looking for recent college graduates with the following: • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills • Articulate, critical thinkers with a strong desire to learn • Exhibited leadership through school or community activities • Desire and flexibility to learn and grow in an ever changing environment • Aspiration for customer facing sales oriented opportunity • A minimum 3.0 GPA Positions are available in New York, Toronto, Chicago and San Francisco Don’t forget to apply at www.careers.standardandpoors.com.
