Florida Classic's 30th Anniversary Celebration will be a sure fire bang!

Florida Citrus puts on the Florida Classic game where Bethune Cookman University and Florida A&M University duke it out every year. Mr. Hogan anticipates a great event this year for alumni, students and fans. “The Florida Classic is a family affair and a (Reunion) for alumni and students.”, states Mr. Hogan. “There are many exciting things going on all week long”. From Steve Harvey broadcasting his ‘Steve Harvey Morning Show’ live to the famous Battle of Bands and much more this year’s 30th Anniversary celebration will be just that a celebration! Keynote events: Friday, Nov. 20 - 6:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m. Steve Harvey Morning Show - Live Broadcast Friday, Nov. 20-- Noon Florida Classic Kickoff Luncheon presented by Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Florida Friday, Nov. 20 -- 6:00 p.m Florida Classic Alumni Reception Friday, Nov. 20 -- 7:00 p.m. Battle of the Bands Saturday, Nov. 21 -- 9:30 a.m. State Farm FanFare Saturday, Nov. 21 -- 2:00 p.m. Florida Classic Though facilitated by Florida Citrus Sports both schools benefit directly from the game/event. “We manage and operate the game but the schools own the rights and all proceeds go towards scholarships at Bethune Cookman and Florida A&M”, commented Mr. Hogan.
