SUNO’s Jepkemboi named all-conference in cross country

Posted By: Eddie Francis on November 16, 2009 FEATURED Content Southern University at New Orleans’ Monicah Jepkemboi (jeh-KEM-bwah) was named to the all-conference cross country team for the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference after placing 8th in the GCAC Championships on November 7th in Clinton, Mississippi. Jepkemboi finished the 5,000 meter race with a time of 21:21.34, earning 8 points for the Lady Knights. The freshman biology major is a native of Kapsabet, Kenya.
