Posted By: Shawn Morrison on February 24, 2005 This year I am a junior in college and I know that I have taken a big step in my life by getting married but even last year I remember talking to other people I had graduated high school with and they were telling me of their kids and their spouses and that was just strange. gettin married dang, thats like way out there for me,a nd im a freshman. so how did yall meet and everythin, was your people's cool wit it. i do understand this is the time when people meet they soulmates.

We met at a Howard Hampton basketball game our freshman year and we stayed friends then later we became a lil more than that. We are together now and it took some time for our parents to adjust but now they are use to the idea and we are tryin to become a cooperative family if we can. My freshamn year I wasnt thinking that during college I would be married but now I am and that is that. I just let things take its course and put me where it wanted to put me.
