Posted By: Shamika Edwards on March 19, 2010 at the bar alone with my drink longing for the better part of companionship i gaze at the others that mingle and magle around me lust deeply coats the small atmosphere like a thick cloud of smoke inhaling the posionous fumes of Temptation and Sin in the mist of the smokey room at a far end table .. alone a small candle flame flickers i notice him .. he sits alone just as i there are others that surround him yet still he remains alone our eyes meet his firey glow commands me in an instant i become high aswell our bodies collide we dance and for that moment im no longer lonely i feel a sense of greatness of happiness his body is as hot as lava he inhales my sense of loneliness caresses my bruised and battered heart minds it almost makes me feel loved that im wanted all the pain is no more the problems seem to vanish he motions for me to take his hand hesitant i comply as we leave hand in hand i dont care where we're going he whispers something in my ear but im too high to object the good feeling i nod ... blackness i awake alone in my bed sense of loneliness sense of pain he is gone my tears flow once more i thirst for the high once more my soul is empty once more my soul is no more If you enjoyed this article, Join HBCU CONNECT today for similar content and opportunities via email! |
