The Life of FAMU
|
Posted By: N'kyria Capehart on March 25, 2010 Well, I'm just blogging to let everyone in on the REAL LIVE FAMU student. Everyone likes to hype up the University, but the truth is that no University is as perfect as they say they are! Don't worry, I won't be bashing my own school, I'm not crazy. I love my school. We just have our "moments" sometimes. But I'm sure all schools have both advantages and disadvantages when it comes to being a student. Like, I have no problem admitting our problem areas: Yes, we do have a lot of problems with administration Communication between the different departments within the school could use improvement More of the Professional and Effective professors would be nice Students act, hmm..., "less of a student" sometimes... and the list goes on and on... But that's not to say that our University is not up to par in any way!! we have the most school spirit of any other organization, school, or club. NO ONE compares to the love that is exhibited at FAMU. We are a FAMILY-oriented school, everyone can be who they are and not worry. We love to party and have a good time! Our Housing department is like none other, I can say that, because I am an RA. and that list surpasses the previous!! All in all, I'm proud to be a student at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University. But, just like other schools, we do have our moments, days, and sometimes even years, where we just need to take some time to re-group!! ;) FAM-U FAM-U FAM-I-Love-U alright, alright, alright!!
