So What do YOU Plan to Do?!

As entrepreneurs with new business ventures, administrators who need to maintain the office even on weekends; principals who need to call just one more parent; authors who need to finish one more paragraph; officers who must file that last document, on and on. WE get caught up in what's on the schedule. What's next to do! Or I must finish that now...! I just started a new foundation and Iam very excited to help others pursue their DREAMS, however; I can't help others if I'm deprived. Today as I was leaving Staples to continue the mailing for my upcoming event (Women's Empowerment Conference Butterfly Bash) I felt like a kid who wanted to go play at the park but was not allowed until my homework was done. The view of the water from Jefferson Avenue in Downtown Detroit near Belle Isle was so beautiful, but I shook off the idea of wanting to enjoy the simple thing - take a walk at the park by the river. If we don't take the time out for us to enjoy the moment, what's the point of working our fingers to the bone. Life is about serving, but let's remember to serve ourselves a bit of fun, relaxtion, spa service or just that simple walk at the park. So what do you plan to do for you?
