HBCU should seek its own unique style.

HBCU should seek its own unique style.

With the traffic presently being generated by the HBCU site, I think you are selling yourself short. You have a unique opportunity to build upon your existing brand. Why give someone else your traffic? HBCU should be working with all minority businesses to build the largest business portal ever. Provide free advertising to business for your site. Build affilate agreements with these businesses. Let them advertise for free while at the same time giving you a percent of the dollars for every product sold. Through your affiliate program earn a percent of every dollar that is sold through your site.

Put on a Festival similar to the African American Heritage Festival held in Baltimore each year.

Invite ONLY BLACK VENDORS to the event, Black Concessionaires, and exhibitors from around the country. Bring in National and Local Talent. Back in the day when I traveled with Overnight Low Show Band and Roger and the Human Body we played in a Festival in Dayton, Ohio.

John Bryant State Park, or even the Ohio State Campus would be a great place to have a festival.

Develop a Black Business Incubator program so that people can have credible businesses to work with. Create an Angel Fund and Investment Fund for Start Up and Expansion of businesses. Do a Micro Business Loan Program. You brothers are slippin' when it comes to what opportunities are available for your organization.

If you need some help in putting it together give us a call.
