Just my luck!

Just my luck!

Okay I haven't done a blog in awhile so bare with me. I was so ready to leave and go to school and I thought nutthan could put a damper on my mood. Well I was wrong.I thought this week would go by smoothly until Friday since that's the day I flyout I would expect my family and friends to be a lil emotional. But now I am pissed. I hurt my hand at last week and I went to the ER on Sunday. The doctor who I saw was soo sure that I had tendonitis so I was like okay I can deal with it I still has the use of my hand. Well he wrapped my hand in an ace bandage and told me I hd to go to OT. So today I go to Occupational Therapy and I hand to take the wrap off. I noticed that my hand was swollen like Eddie Murphy's character in the Nutty Professor.

So when the OT Doc asked me could I grip certain things and what could I feel I felt useless. I can't write my own name and I could barely feel certain things. So he had me go to x-ray and when he got the results back he told me that I have to wear a cast for 6wks. I was so pissed not at him but @ the ER doc. Because now I have a huge fluid build up towards the top of my hand and fingers. Which means they have to wait for the swelling to go down before I get my cast. All of this has me pissed because I was only leaving to go to school early because I was going to Band Camp. Now I can't even write let alone twirl a flag. All because of one doctor's laziness. And now I have to figure out how to tell the Band Director and the Flag Coordinator.

Tell your band director the truth, Baby Girl. You have your medical records to back you up and with those you may be able to either try out in a different manner or have your tryout postponed altogether. Sorry it happened like that.
