Can Texas Southern Be Saved from the Enemy Within?

Posted By: Jacquenetta Armstead on April 24, 2010 For those who have not being paying attention, the current President of Texas Southern is out on a new tear! His current objective is to remove, paint over, DESTROY! all the murals at TSU! He plans to paint over the John Biggers on the cafeteria wall in the student center as well as all the murals in Hannah Hall that Art Majors are required to do before they graduate. Spread the word, call someone, email someone. Hurry! We don't have much time, we estimate that he plans to do it either during the break between Summer school and the Fall semester or over the Christmas break. He already removed all signs of fraternities and sororities on the campus, the murals are next on his hit list. His goal is to remove everything Black from this the second largest HBCU in the country and he pays no heed to the wants and wishes of the Alumuni!
