"Laguneros" - Spanish for Lakers.....BUT
|
Posted By: torin ellis on May 16, 2010 FEATURED Content ....should they take a stand - of some sort - as it relates to playing their upcoming series in Arizona? Remember the NBA is about entertaining the fans and delivering basketball games. Period. (right) Not so fast. The NBA Players Association has already called the recently passed Arizona law on immigration "disturbing?" Oh right, that was the Players Association and not the NBA. So what do you think - should the Lakers take some sort of stand actual or symbolic at any point during the series? Many would like to see the team change their jerseys or wear headbands, or do a PSA. Is it a big deal? Might we pay more attention to the discussion if the Lakers took a stand or are we paying (enough) attention already? Leave your comment AND prediction as to who will win the series!
