Posted By: Shamika Edwards on May 20, 2010 "SEX SALES" and because of that phrase society sales ALOT of it .question.. whats to become of the younger generation because of it after all they are the ones being affected by it. with artist like nicki minja flooding the air way and tiny boopers like miley cyrus broadcasting on your tv screen . not to mention the serious lack of positive rolemodels or in this case "black rolemodels" or to be even more specific on my topic " positive african american female rolemodels" . because really im more concerned with the upcoming female generation . truthfully in my community .. right now .. over half the children in middle school are sexually active ... OVER HALF .. of that half majority of them started well off in elementary !! young girls are looking up to people like rapper nicki minaj !! i agree with you shamika nikki minja reminds me of little kim but at least little kim had more talented , it is a shame that the media promote these people and young kids are watching them and saying the lyrics their parents need to monitored what they are listening too Sunday, May 23rd 2010 at 1:49PM |

thanks ms. reese but now days im leaning more on the parents to fault than the media .parents are the heads of the house hold they should be able to control what comes into their home . they should be be able to control their kids . in all they should take time to raise them. arstist like nicki only do it because thats what sells and making hits is their occupation . in the end its a lose/lose situation for the children who are deprived of so much because they are growing up too fast and have no one to say "slow it down"
