Posted By: torin ellis on June 06, 2010 FEATURED Content A Georgia man is in police custody after authorities say he forced his 9-year-old daughter to drink alcohol and threatened to kill her if she refused. Johnson Publishing Company, Inc. announced the appointment of its new Editor-in-Chief of EBONY magazine, Amy DuBois Barnett. Barnett is an award-winning media executive, writer and brand architect. Most recently, she was the Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Harper’s Bazaar. Apparently fans in Coppenhagen were not too happy with our girl WHitney Houston - they walked out. She performed a show in Denmark over the weekend, and a large portion of the crowd decided to go home after it became clear that the Whitney Houston show that they wanted to see would not be able to happen on that night. Not a good look. The NAACP is filing a complaint against a Washington State elementary school after an 8-year-old girl was kicked out of class because her teacher complained about the smell of her hair. Reminds me of a story earlier in the year when a teacher cut a little girls braid - IN THE CLASSROOM! And no one told me that Janet Jackson had a new man. The 44-year-old singer – who ended her seven-year romance with producer Jermaine Dupri last year – has reportedly been bombarded with gifts by 35-year-old millionaire businessman Wissam Al Mana, and is loving the attention he is giving her.
