My First (Random) Thought

Posted By: Harryette Glenn on June 23, 2010 Four months ago I said "Hmmm, Rachel you should start a blog," but I put it off due to being so busy. So now in writing one, I'm thinking what exactly should you talk about with so much going on in life. Well here it goes.......... Monday I went on a date with a guy. I've been knowing him for almost eight years now but the relationship has never progressed. It was definitely not a 'high school sweetheart' type of thing. It was an 'I'm bored out of my mind get me out of the house' type situation. We went to Birmingham, MI (the best place ever) and saw a movie at the Palladium. Well, first he complained about buying me a drink. Now he did buy it but when I looked up he had his own personal straw in it. I PANICKED!!! Why the hell is your straw in my drink? I didn't say that but I thought it. To suppress my anger I turned to my favorite thing 'Mrs. Berry' (my new Blackberry Bold). I did this so he wouldn't see my facial expression. I really had to calm the hell down. Finally, we walked in the movie theatre. He had the biggest thing of popcorn ever but do you know that when I went to grab at it he almost bit my hand off like a wild banshee. That was a little extreme but he did get super pissed; at the same time he had my Icee in his hand. Now I know I forgot to mention but this guy has husband potential. He is a college graduate, full-time job, very athletic and very attractive. Now I'm thinking should I still date him? Was I tripping? Ugh, I'm so lost now but I know that straw thing turned me off.
