INSPIRE ME .. TODAY :)

INSPIRE ME .. TODAY :)
Posted By: Shamika Edwards on June 25, 2010

Im in need of inspiration. Who will inspire me today? Who will inflict on me such positivity and inspiration, that will help me not only on this day, but the day after this , and the next day, and the next. Anybody? My generation is in need. Dying, lost, confused, afraid. So who will inspire me on today? All im asking for is a small bit of advice. Whether that be one single word , or a long heartful phrase. Motivate me , uplift me with praise. Inspire me today. :)

I sing in the choir, and one of the things i love most about singing is knowing that you are inspiring someone in the audience. Your voice may help someone , who at that moment is going through hard times. Your lyrics can be that sign, that word that someone really needs to hear , etc. A local church held a youth explosion convention and it began on yesterday.

I was super happy because i love working with the youth .especially if i have a chance to help change someones life . So i went looking to inspire!! wow. you guys they ended up inspiring me. When the question of acepting Christ came about , so many young and youthful children came to the alter. Im talking 12 and under. Now i dont know just how many came knowing what they were doing . But it inspired me that they came. They were curious about something so positive. True many of them didn't fully understand , they didn't turn away though. Thats beautiful to me really, and it bought tears to my eys. It said to me that this is not a dying generation. Some youth do want to live , and through Christ they will. They inspired me to want to change my life more. To finally live the way i know i should live because everyday young kids look up to people like me , and i dont want to let them down. I dont want to mislead them. I'll love to inspire them more
