Dreams of a husband

Posted By: Genette Brooks on July 29, 2010 I had a dream abou a husband one I have never seen in 2000. I was standing at an altar in a catholic church that was empty with me and just a priest and a man whose face I did not see. I held on to that dream and believed I had a husband. I am in the Holiness Pentecostal faith so why I saw a priest I do not know. My brother came over the other day and said Jesus is your first love and your husband. A few days later I read the Bible and it said the same thing. When I was in the Hilton in Wilmington DE I had a dream and in the dream the sky opend up and I saw heaven and a women spoke and she said Jesus is my husband. In 2000 I called my self going through a purification period for a husband or trying to get ready for one. I cooked myself breakfeast and dinner day. I had a cup of green tea every day and drunk plenty of water. I excercised everyday and everyday after showering or taking a bath I purified my body. I also cleaned my house daily and made up my bed every day. I went to school during the day one semester and during the night the next semester. I worked at Allstate and Dial America. I went to Church and read the bible. I kept my television tuned into TBN. The enemy new that and used my desire for a husband to attack my life. Now I don't desire one but I know who he is. He is Jesus and I am no longer going through silly things to purify my body or make myself the perfect little wife. If I am faithful unto Christ he will be my husband and I will be acceptable for that wedding that is supposed to take place in heaven. What I look like on the outside or how clean my body is on the outside doesn't matter. God is looking at the heart. The bible does say all uncleaness is sin so clean yourselves, but realize that God is looking for the purification of the heart. If I knew Jesus was my husband when I was a little girl, I think my life would have been much different and there would not have been a dating seen, I would have just waited on Christ. I haven't dated now in 14 years so I think I am dong good, I think it is ok to date, but avoid compromising situations. Three of my relatives got married and I am so sorry that they did. I wish that I could rewind time for them and give them back the years that they lost in these relationships. I can't, God will give them back their years and their youth. I hear 1 of them say constantly that their life is over. Truthfully it has just begun. If they would just try to reach out into the deep. Sometimes I feel like m life is over because of my condition. I wonder if Iwill ever work again, but I keep trying and I keep going knowing that the time is short before Jesus comes lets me know to work all the more, and to stop worrying about what I can't do and focus on what I can do. I am a multi-talented person wose gifts come from the Holy Ghost. I work now at my own pace and I use my talents to make a pofit not depending on the world to dictate to me what I can and cannot do. Everyday I am getting better, but will I be perfectly well I do not know. I just know one day I am going home to my husband in the sky and he will say, well done my good and faithful servant.
