it doesn feel real

Posted By: Phillip Welch on August 19, 2005 U kno u go through life listinin to ur parents or wateva an they always there tellin u wat 2 do even if u think u away from them u kno u comin back to them so u can be told ova an ova again how 2 live ur life, its weird how that now im gonna be goin out on my own an i don have 2 take orders from them anymore soon ima have my own house my own car my own place an im only gonna be a visiter in da house ive lived in for a long time. The place i call home wont really be home. Im sittin here thinkin bout how ima go off 2 college an it doesn seem real, its like ima really be leavin everything ive eva known behind an part wit some very special people that i may neva see again, an it doesn seem real. it almost hurts, but im so excited to go get to meet these people an start ova again but then again it feels like i have a whole notha year of highschool left 2 go, it doesn seem real that im goin to college when so many people i kno arent gonna get that chance. im leavin in 7 but i guess since my parents still think im there lil boi an they treat me younger an younger every day that i almost feel like college is a whole lifetime away. the days have been draggin out an i cant wait 2 get 2 HAMPTON UNIVERSITY aka da REAL HU, but it jus doesn seem real that ive made it this far when so many i kno haven, im really goin 2 college If you enjoyed this article, Join HBCU CONNECT today for similar content and opportunities via email! |
