Posted By: Joseph Gessese on September 29, 2010 Joseph and Fares Gessese are entrepreneurs from Ethiopia. During the summer of 2000 Joseph and Fares Gessese decided to move from Washington, DC area to Fort Wayne, IN to become entrepreneurs. In Fort Wayne, IN, the brothers didn't idle away their precious time; instead they utilized it for gathering further knowledge about becoming able entrepreneurs. They were frequent visitors of the local library and from there they devoured very many books connected with entrepreneurship. After months long research they decided to float their first business. They started their own carpet cleaning business, with the main stress on the low income families. Slowly they began to grow and moved to Columbus, with a view of expanding their growing business. By hard work and sincerity they were really successful and became the founders of African Midwest Yellow Pages, African Cup USA and also started to function as the franchisee of the 4th largest tax service of America in Manhattan, NY. In May of 2010, Joseph and Fares moved back to Washington DC and founded DMVStars.com. DMV Stars. http://www.dmvstars.com, is a website that highlights up and coming artist in DC, MD, and VA. It helps the upcoming artist by giving them a platform to show case their talents. The site allows local fans and those around the country to read bio of the rising artist and watch their videos where they can leave comments. It also spotlights those stars who have already made their mark like Big Tigger, Donella, Lil Mo, Aniji and DJ Quicksilva. Fares says, "I felt like DMV needs to know "who is who" in our community and DMVStars.com does exactly that." The brothers say that they are happy to be giving back to the community they grew up in. Hello Everyone, my name is Leo Garrett and I'm the Author of the book: 5 Rules & 31 Pages to Staying Married Forever. I've been married for over 22 years since the age of 18. My wife and I got married with nothing but "my Plan". The Plan was for her to go to school and I'll take care of the rest. She is working on her PhD now and we have a set of 9 yr old twins. I took us from the hood to Upper Middle Class off pure Ambition. I'm sharing with the world the experience of being Married & Staying Married. It's very simple as I've crammed these 5 Rules into a 31 page book. I'm at www.leogarrett.com where you can purchase the book and qualify to have Brunch w/ Leo along with 38 other winners & guests on Dec 11th.
