I have been with this guy for 3 years now.. he lives in texas and i just came down to dc on thursday to go to college. well two days after i got here... my best friend calls me and tells me her cousin saw him with his ex girlfriend that night. of course he denied it... and i havent been talkin to him as much as I used to... is he cheating? what should I do? He may be exploring other options because you are in a new state. Some guys dont know how to deal with a long distance relationship like females do, so he is dealing with it in his own way, as wrong as it may be.

The 1st reply here, well I got cheated on by girlfriend when I went into military, twice. It goes both ways, this site is loaded wih sistahs that are talking abhout how good their boyfriends are but they are going off to school to do their thang, I know because I have answered some of them. Not being funny or anything folk but I notice with sistahs a double standard that when they bdo it is cool and other sistahs that are doing what men get condemned for they/yall ignore that as reply #1 obviously is or has not noticed. Just had to say that 2cents worth. Colleges as when I was in college has a saying that every girl there has a boyfriend back home, well I sure dealt with quite a few... Maybe you would have done the same 1st I don't know. But you already know the answer Sis and hope for someone to say something opposite to make you feel better and deal with it. Don't do that, you are too valuable Sis. Your brain and heart have already told you the deal. But feel freee to ask him. Now he could be innocent, I was in the bed over to my girls apt and a sistha called her at 7a.m. to say I was out cheating on her... They were in pharmacy together and she had never called before, there are a lot of games out there so he could be telling the truth. There is a saying that by time words get back to you it is all twisted. So your girl got it from another girl and then they called you and... I have seen family, friends etc. gossip, set-up and lie to get in on dudes. Learn the story for yourself Sis. If he did, well all dirt comes back to the light. You are young but love is love no matter what age, I just mention that you have some life to learn before you are with whom you will be. Also don't know the whole deal betweeen you two but respectfully if all the package is opened, what else does he have to hold/adhere to? I know you are of a certain age Sis, don't look at me as the saint, I am talking to you as I would my own sisters, nieces etc., that are teenagers. I ope all works out for you sis and keep people out of your biz, the more in the better the chance of a negative person to mess things up.
