VOTE FOR ME!

VOTE FOR ME!
Posted By: Michira Williams on September 01, 2005

There's a rumor going around SSU saying that WE Freshmen need a Class Treasurer. Well, I have someone in mind. She is currently enrolled at the University as a full-time Freshman willing to give our Student Government Association some of her attention. Her name is Michira Williams and she wants to represent YOU! I believe that she is the ideal person for job and so should you. She may be the only candidate for Treasurer that can not only talk about it, but also be about it in order to MAKE things happen. Here are a couple of thing you should know about her...

Michira Williams was born and raised here in Savannah, Ga. She has volunteered to help various organiztions make her society and community a better place to live and to give it's citizens a brighter future. She graduated from Sol C.

Johnson High School where she participated in a number extra-curricular activities and academic organizations such as:

National Honor Society
National Beta Club
Future Business Leaders of America
Jobs for Georgia's Graduates
Student Council
Senior Council
Educational Talent Search

Michira now attends Savannah State University where she is currently a member of the Univesity's MAGEC-STEM Program. She is a Mathematics major with aspirations of becoming a higher-level high school Mathematics Teacher. She says, and I quote, "I want to help shape the future that consists of the generation after my own through EDUCATION, not teaching. I want to pass on adages such as 'Knowlege is power" and 'A good education can take you places that you can only dream of going.' I want to encourage my students and inspire big dreams in that may as well give them hopes of becoming scientists, doctors, writers, and philosiphers."

This candidate has a really good head on her shoulders, and she intends to aid her classmates and peers in making their first year in college a memorable one.

So, don't settle for less when you know who's the best!
Vote Michira Williams for Freshman Class Treasurer!
