Posted By: Russell Clark on December 07, 2010 December 7, 2010 COLUMBIA, SC — MEACFANSzone.com has announced a collaboration with HBCUSportsOnline.com to expand coverage of Historically Black College and University football recruiting. The partnership between MEACFANSzone and HBCUSportsOnline.com has developed out of a common goal to apply our particular areas of experience to increase the level of knowledge about what causes student athletes to verbally commit or accept scholarships to HBCU’s. As the unofficial headquarters for HBCU recruiting, MEACFANSzone is held to the highest of integrity standards for our recruiting rankings and are constantly striving to enhance our informative capabilities. Through our collaboration with HBCUSportsOnline.com, we hope to have more quantifiable and qualitative research from which to draw on as we develop the next generation of HBCU student athlete recruiting reporting in basketball and football.” HBCUSportsOnline.com in conjunction with PrepsReport.com, will produce the Recruiting Report in a blog format similar to the one created at MEACFANSzone. Also, the joint effort will identify HS players that have a high probability of attending an HBCU or verbal commitments. The goal is to enhance the experience of our viewership by selecting certain players and conduct interviews and display video highlights on our sites. Student-athlete recruiting has become a signature event in collegiate sports in this new millennium — and is the subject of an intense scrutiny. Together with investigators and researchers from MEACFANSzone, HBCUSportsOnline.com and PrepsReports.com, we are trying to provide accurate and up to date HBCU recruiting information for all sports fans and simultaneously creating a recruiting resource for HBCU football coaches. As an added bonus, one of our members and staff members has been asked to be a guest writer on HBCU Recruiting for HBCUSportsOnline.com. Tighteye has done an outstanding job over the years providing us with detailed Historically Black College and University football and men’s and women’s basketball recruiting data. In turn for Tighteye’s contributions to HBCUSportsOnline.com, MEACFANSzone will gain vital advertising and additional resources. Therefore, congratulations are in order to the entire board and those who participate in its development. About MEACFANSzone.com MEACFans Zone was established October 2009.
